pearly everlasting in full bloom, fireweed and thistles.
a birch growing rather strangely, lichen and thistle.
a bizarrely coloured fungus tartan on stage and a puffball.
i liked this piece of wood and sand still life.
mushrooms, asters and not sure what this plant is but it is interesting.
lots of different mushrooms i think the last is a mairei.
and still more mushrooms.
an interesting mushroom and a bolete mushroom. just off the path these leaves caught my eye as a patch of sun lit them up.
these leaves also caught my eye, a coral mushroom and more interesting leaves.
the colours attracted me.
mountain ash berries, a puffball and full blown thistle.
grape leaves, a transplant from ken, and lovely daisies also transplants from the city.
they are found in the hugry hall "garden". bouncing bet flowers.
the path to the lake. two bolete mushrooms
still more mushrooms.
a bolete mushroom, a mairei russula, i think, and two boletes.
lots of mushrooms. a very cool and rainy summer good for growing mushrooms!
the two shots of the large bolete show that mice or voles are fond of this mushroom. upon close inspection i found tiny droppings on the stem.
the view of the lake from the isthmus looking south east and east.the isthmus seperates L239 and L240. at the western end is the weir measuring the flow from 239 into 240.
i love all the colours of the leaves now. the first is bind weed, then a grass/sedge to be named later and bind weed trailing accros the sand.
a mushroom forcing its way to the light, love these leaves and dragonfly demise in the sand with fly attending.
a bolete and two veiws of perhaps a lactarius or a russula i'm not sure really.
a puffball, backlit leaves and a mushroom
asters and more mushrooms
two veiws of a mushroom and mountain ash berries.
