sunday morning june 12

a hybrid Iris a Wild Rose Moccasin Flowers
the wild Irises won't be blooming for a month or so.

these pictures show the Pine pollen in Lake 240. the dark area in the third picture is the shadow cast onto the sand bottom of the lake. on some of the lakes the wave action deposited the Pine pollen on shore as thick as three inches.

a Bee flew into this Wild Rose just as I took the shot. a Bee on a Leatherleaf Flower.

these pictures show the "detritus" on the lake bottom in the shallows. I also like very much the interplay of water and sunlight.

I love the way the sunlight highlights certain areas of the lake bottom. the second picture is a close up of the upper right portion of the first picture. and last but certainly not least is a close up of a Dandelion ready to blow its seeds.
